Project Highlights

What did the customer need?

A gas engine power plant in Sung Noen, Nakhon Ratchasima, needed overhead cranes to install power generation machinery:

  • Crane runways and three 3 t overhead cranes: two in the Gas Engine Building on brackets at two different levels, on a 31.4 m runway, controlled by a zoning safety function; one in the Workshop and Warehouse Building on a 20 m runway
  • When crane 2's hook is lowered into crane 1's zone, a zoning limit stops hoist down, trolley and long travel, with light and sound warning
  • A by-pass button lets crane 2 continue, with the warning on until the hook is raised clear and the by-pass is switched off
