ALLA CRANE

Industrial Cranes Designed and Built by ALLA

Overhead, gantry, semi-gantry, suspension, jib and monorail cranes engineered around your load, span and building, then installed, load tested and serviced by one ALLA team across Thailand.

What Is an Industrial Crane?

An industrial crane is a lifting system that moves heavy loads vertically and horizontally within a work area. It combines a steel structure, travel drives and a hoist, so one operator can lift, carry and place a load safely.

ALLA engineers design and fabricate cranes for standard factory bays as well as large and special cranes built to each customer’s requirements.

Crane Types We Build

Eight crane designs cover most factory, warehouse and yard applications. Compare where each one fits, then ask our engineers to size it for your site.

Overhead Crane

Overhead Crane

Single or double girder bridge running on runway beams along the building, covering the full width of a bay.

Best for: Production halls, steel and machinery plants, warehouses

  • Single or double girder
  • Uses the whole floor area
  • Suits long spans and frequent lifts
Gantry Crane

Gantry Crane

Legs travel on rails at floor level, so no runway beams or building support are needed.

Best for: Outdoor yards, stockyards, open areas

  • Works indoors or outdoors
  • Independent of the building
  • Single or double girder
Semi-Gantry Crane

Semi-Gantry Crane

One leg runs on a floor rail while the other end runs on a runway on the building or a wall.

Best for: Areas along a building side with limited space

  • One leg, one runway
  • Frees floor space on one side
  • Fits existing buildings
Suspension Crane

Suspension Crane

Underhung bridge hanging from the roof structure or ceiling beams, keeping the floor and columns clear.

Best for: Indoor areas with low headroom or no columns for a runway

  • No floor rails or columns
  • Smooth, precise travel
  • Roof must carry the load
Pillar Jib Crane

Pillar Jib Crane

Free-standing column with a slewing arm that lifts within a circle around one workstation.

Best for: Machine loading, assembly cells, single workstations

  • Free-standing column
  • Fast local lifting
  • Relieves the main crane
Wall-Mounted Jib Crane

Wall-Mounted Jib Crane

Slewing arm fixed to a building column or wall, saving floor space at the work point.

Best for: Workstations along walls or columns

  • No floor footprint
  • Easy to add to a line
  • Works under an overhead crane
Wall Travelling Crane

Wall Travelling Crane

Cantilever crane that travels on a wall-mounted track beneath the main overhead crane.

Best for: Long work areas along the wall

  • Runs below the main crane
  • Adds a second lifting zone
  • Keeps the bay crane free
Monorail Crane

Monorail Crane

Hoist trolley running on a single straight or curved beam along one fixed path.

Best for: Production lines, repeated transfer routes

  • One defined route
  • Straight or curved track
  • Simple and space-saving
Selection Guide

How to Choose the Right Crane for Your Factory

Six details decide which crane fits. Share them with us and our engineers can size the crane and hoist faster.

01

Lifting capacity

The heaviest load, including slings, spreaders and attachments.

02

Lifting height

Hook height needed and the headroom available under the roof.

03

Span

Distance between runway rails, or the reach a jib must cover.

04

Installation area

Columns, runway beams, roof strength and whether the site is indoors or outdoors.

05

Duty and work type

Lifts per hour, hours per shift and how precisely loads are placed.

06

Operating environment

Heat, dust, humidity, corrosion or explosive atmospheres.

Quick match

A full factory bay

Overhead Crane

An open yard or no runway structure

Gantry Crane

Support on one side of the building only

Semi-Gantry Crane

Clear floor, roof can carry the load

Suspension Crane

One machine or workstation

Pillar or Wall-Mounted Jib Crane

A second lifting zone along the wall

Wall Travelling Crane

A fixed route on a production line

Monorail Crane

Frequently Asked Questions About Cranes

A crane is a system that lifts and moves heavy materials vertically and horizontally. It is made up of a structure, a drive system and lifting components such as a hoist, so loads can be handled safely and efficiently within a work area.

ALLA designs and builds eight crane types: overhead crane, gantry crane, semi-gantry crane, suspension crane, pillar jib crane, wall-mounted jib crane, wall travelling crane and monorail crane. ALLA also builds large and special cranes to customer requirements.

A single girder crane has one main beam with the hoist running underneath. It is lighter and economical for lighter loads and shorter spans. A double girder crane has two main beams with the hoist running on top, giving more capacity, longer spans and more hook height.

Start with the lifting capacity, lifting height, span, installation area, duty and operating environment. Overhead cranes suit full factory bays, gantry cranes suit open areas without runway beams, suspension cranes keep the floor clear, and jib cranes serve single workstations. ALLA engineers can survey your site and recommend the right type.

Yes. ALLA designs and manufactures large and special cranes to customer requirements, subject to the engineering specification and the site conditions of each project.

ALLA cranes are fitted with STAHL hoists from Germany, for which ALLA has been the sole distributor in Thailand since 1994, or with EGON hoists from the ALLA Group for cost-effective general lifting. The choice depends on capacity, duty cycle and budget.

Yes. ALLA teams install and commission each crane, then carry out load testing and issue the Por.Jor.1 inspection certificate signed by licensed engineers, as required by Thai workplace safety law.
